We have many resources available to our military community team members to offer them additional support to ensure their career, post military life is a successful one.  

 

There is a mentorship program offered to all newly hired team members to assist with onboarding and overall acclimation to Riverstone Communities.  As much as possible, military community team members are matched up with other former military community team member mentors to provide that added layer of comfortability and connection.

 

We have a very robust Employee Assistance Program offered to all team members that provides MANY resources to our team members who may need some additional assistance.  These resources include counseling sessions to help work through a tough time or situation, coaching sessions to help both personally and professionally, financial services, legal services, eldercare and child care assistance etc.  We strongly encourage our team to utilize these resources, as much as they need.

 

Lastly, specific to our military community team population we certainly embrace the protections provided through federal regulations around USERRA (Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act).  We are more than flexible to work with our National Guard team members, as an example, when they need to attend regular training and/or go serve for a period of time.  We are very aware of the USERRA guidelines and support them to the fullest extent.  We want our military community team members to not have the stress or worry of job protection when they need to go and serve our country.  We will work with them every step of the way!
